To comply with the requirements of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Islamabad, the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at GIFT University, Gujranwala was established on 18th July 2012. It started functioning under the supervision of Professor Dr. Mohammad Iqbal Tahir, Rector of GIFT University in the same year. QEC, at GIFT University, is working to safeguard public interest by enforcing good practices in education and encouraging continuous improvement in quality of degree program.
