GIFT University’s Quality Enhancement Cell organized Self-Institutional Performance Evaluation (Self-IPE) on June 16th-17th, 2023, as per the requirements of Higher Education Commission. The goal of Self-IPE is to evaluate University’s performance in domain of Faculty, Staff, Students, Administration and Management.
The review panel consisted of Mr. Ali Raza Qureshi (Director, QEC Lahore Garrison University, Lahore), Dr. Naveed Ahmed (Deputy Director, QEC National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore), Mr. Awais Umar Nawaz (Director, QEC GIFT University, Gujranwala), Mr. Mubeen Anwar (Deputy Manager, QEC GIFT University, Gujranwala) and Ms. Sarah Naveed (QEC GIFT University, Gujranwala).
The panel reviewed the University’s systems and processes based on the criteria and standards set by HEC. A number of meetings were held with Deans, HoDs, Faculty members, Administrative Heads and Students to assess how the systems and processes are actually being implemented.
The panel also visited Faculty, Administrative offices, Classrooms, Library, Labs and Cafeteria. At the end of the session, an exit meeting was conducted with Prof. Dr. Shahid Qureshi (Rector, GIFT University, Gujranwala) and Mr. Waseem Ullah Dar (Registrar, GIFT University, Gujranwala) in which the panel briefed the Rector and the Registrar about their observations.
